I took these images on March 10 using my 8-inch f4.5 dob. The first picture was taking using my 4-mm Astrotech uma (80 degree) eyepiece. The image shows a starfish-like shadow. The image was done holding my iPhone to the eyepiece. I then used the iPhone zoom feature to zoom in on the image coming from scope to enlarge the shadow.
The next two images are the region around Copernicus using the 4-mm eyepiece and an iPhone zoom closer to the terminator region from Copernicus.
The image of Venus was taken with same scope using a 30-mm Tuthill Plossl . I zoomed the image coming from the scope.
